What I mean is, I recently acquired a new 250xc and when getting the measurements for setting the sag it seems the bike is already at 100. Is that possible?? Or did I measure something wrong?? I will admit I have been riding all my life but never took the time to check the sag since all my previous bikes were used and I was young and just wanted to ride LOL.
Is it possible for sag to be set already from the dealer?
Valve Longevity?
I have a 07 250x and just had to reshim one intake valve and not the other. I know it will need a valve job soon but my question is if I go to stainless valves and have the head redone, how long will it last? I trail ride and just started harescrambles but I rarely - if ever- hit the rev limiter. I don't mind putting the money into the bike if the solution will last a long time. IMO, this is a weird problem and can't believe a Honda engine has such a problem. How long will stainless valves and new/redone seats last? I don't want to keep pulling this apart every year.
Is this a problem with all modern 4 strokes or just the Hondas? when I had to reshim and saw about the titanium valves and the valve problems, I'm thinking I should have bought a Yamaha...
Keeping your own lap times
Interested in doing this. I ride with a small G-Shock watch (DW-5600EV) as it's super durable, light, and pretty small with plastic casing. Has timing, countdowns, and the ability to view current time during running those features, but the buttons are small as heck, so impossible to actually hit when I'm riding. If they were bigger I could likely manage. Anybody keep there own times using a wrist watch?
Ideas?
I have a 2010 yz250f and it seems like its not running right. If I'm in neutral and I rev it a little bit it like bogs down for a half a second and then it revs up.

What is this jet?
This small jet broke while trying to get it out and I for the life of me cannot find the name or it on any parts break down list.
Any ideas?

Valve Lifter Bucket Service Limit
In the process of rebuilding a 2004 250R and found that both intake valve lifters are right at their service limit of 0.885". I'm inclined to replace them, but these suckers are $30 a piece so I'm a little hesitant. How critical is the O.D. of the lifters and what's the worst that could happen if I re-use them? I'm curious what the O.D. of a new one is.
4CS Fork spring change?

Valve Guides
I am in need of a oversized valve guide for a XL6, they are no longer available... So will a XR6 or XR650L valve guide work, what are differences?
YZ125 Tire Size
Hello. I was wondering the best size to run on a yz125. I believe I have 100/90-19 front and probably 110/90-19 on back, but I'm currently at school so I will update when I get home. What does everyone else run on theirs? Thanks
arm pump
Fixed my flat tire, then bike wouldn't start:-(
Anyhow, here's where I need advice: what's the proper procedure when laying the bike down to fix a flat on the roadside, to improve odds of bike firing up when ready to go? I did not shut off petcock. Should I have? Should choke be used when bike is righted? Should carb be drained before trying ignition?
I have a 2013 DRZ400S, all stock except for safari (18L?) tank. If my battery had been just a bit weaker, I'd still be out in the woods!
